Okay — to be perfectly clear — I’m for ELIZABETH WARREN and RUTH BADER GINSBERG — I’m registered as an Independent because the Democratic Party is too right-wing for me — I vote for Democrats only when they are less evil than Republicans.
BUT — starting any argument against Hilary Clinton with “just because a candidate has a vagina” is reducing a serious contender for the Presidency of the United States to a reproductive organ — and GUESS WHAT — THAT is misogyny with a capital M — as in DEMEANING to ALL women.
Hey, nobody is going around saying “Just because Bernie has a PENIS is no reason to vote for him.”
So I’m calling out every one of you who have used those words — just STOP saying them — it’s a weak retort which does nothing to bolster your credibility as someone who is voting for Sanders because of his stand on “the issues” — and it makes you sound like one of those whiny Men’s Rights assholes — even if you’re a woman, and I know some of you are. Those words should be dumped on the ash-heap, right next to “I’m not a Feminist, BUT….”
If you have issues with Hilary Clinton, then talk about the issues,
